Everyone,
As many of you know in 2017 we reorganized as Date Palm Media LLC and have since moved our focus to the Software and Art side of our business as our primary focus.
I am happy to report that the new divisions of Date Palm Media LLC for Software Engineering services, and Fine Arts/Publication services have been running profitably for the last two years, and things are on track for another great year!
The brand Virtuabotix is still owned by Date Palm Media LLC, and we still would like to share our Hardware/Firmware designs with the world, but given that we will no longer be running shipping and receiving in house and don’t have the mental energy or time to pour as much of ourselves into the hardware projects we supported for the last 8 years I wanted to reach out and let you know we are looking for volunteers to help with the process of publishing our open source designs and code.
In late 2016 we suffered a major data loss event that resulted in us losing most of our website for Virtuabotix, and given that it made more business sense to focus on our other departments we haven’t made as much progress as I would like to have seen on publishing designs again.
If you are interested in helping us with the project of fully open sourcing and working on getting the legacy Virtuabotix site updated to serve those designs to the public it would be great to tag up.
