RotoEdge Pro grew out of a rotomolding operation we automated end to end, and it's in production use across multiple facilities today. This is not a generic MES with a rotomolding label on it — it's software shaped by a real plant floor.

The Operation

The schedule lives on the floor, not in the office

Machines, arms, and molds have to be scheduled together, and the schedule changes the moment a mold comes out early or a machine goes down. In most plants that reality lives on a whiteboard, in a stack of paper travelers, and in a spreadsheet that is already out of date by the first mold change of the morning.

Molding logs get written by hand and reconciled later. Bills of material drift from what is actually being run. The reports the owner gets are a best guess, assembled after the fact instead of read straight off the floor — and when the schedule and the floor disagree, the floor always wins.

We architected and built the original SaaS product that ran a rotational-molding manufacturer's factories end to end: scheduling, molding logs, reporting, BOM, and machine workflows, replacing floor-wide printed spreadsheets. That foundation became RotoEdge Pro, which is in production use across multiple rotomolding facilities today, and which Plastics Technology covered in 2024.
