About Date Palm Media

Date Palm Media is a software, process automation, and applied-AI development company founded in 2017 by Joseph Dattilo. It is the successor to Virtuabotix, the electronics and robotics business he founded in 2011; Date Palm Media acquired the Virtuabotix trademarks, websites, and business assets and continues to use Virtuabotix as a business name. The company is based in Lansing, Michigan.

Date Palm Media builds and operates the FleetHarbor suite — RepoHarbor, TaskHarbor, FleetHarbor, and NeuroHarbor — tools for teams where humans and AI coding agents work the same repos and boards safely. It is also the engineering home of founder-led products including MyPaintBuckets (co-founded), production software for new-residential painting operations.

Founder

Joseph Dattilo is an engineer-founder: a US Air Force veteran (missile-warning radar operations), a Dell senior software engineer whose test infrastructure Dell published on its official open-source site in 2016, and someone shipping production AI since 2018 (Speak Technologies, pre-LLM NLP on live call traffic). Today he operates a production fleet of AI coding agents that builds the company's own products.
