Lansing’s senior software and AI team.

Custom software development, business process automation, and AI-native systems — built in Lansing, with on-site discovery anywhere in mid-Michigan.

A service-area business, stated plainly: we work from Lansing, we come to you. No storefront to visit — a shop floor to walk is better anyway.

The Local Thesis

A city of operators deserves builders who show up

Lansing is a working city — state operations, manufacturers, trades, logistics, service businesses. Most of the software those operations run on was built far away by people who never saw the work being done. We think that is exactly backwards. The best operational software starts with someone standing in the room where the work happens, asking why the whiteboard says what it says.

Date Palm Media has been building software since 2011 and is founder-led: engaging us means working directly with Joseph Dattilo and a small senior team, on systems we stay accountable for after launch.

On-Site Discovery

We come to the work

Every engagement starts with discovery, and locally we do it in person: on the shop floor, at the front desk, in the truck if that is where the process lives. Lansing and East Lansing are home ground; the rest of mid-Michigan is a normal working radius; Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, and metro Detroit are a day trip we make routinely.

Watching how the work actually flows — rather than how it is described in a meeting — is the difference between software that fits and software that gets worked around. It is the method behind everything we build for operations.

Manufacturing & Trades

Proof from the shop floor

Manufacturing

RotoEdge Pro runs real-time production scheduling, machine tracking, and shop floor dashboards for rotational molding manufacturers — in production use across multiple facilities. Michigan makes things; we build the systems that keep the making on schedule.

Trades & services

MyPaintBuckets has managed jobs, material ordering, and scheduling for residential painting businesses for years of production use. Trades operations have their own rhythm — software has to match it, not fight it.

Case details are on the work section. If your operation is a small or mid-sized manufacturer, that gap between spreadsheets and enterprise software is exactly where we work.

If you’re in mid-Michigan, the first conversation can happen over coffee.

Tell us what your operation does and where it hurts. Joseph reads every note and replies himself.
